I'm blanketed in kindness,
and I'm blanketed in grace.
My blanket is protection,
from the aliens in space.
It keeps me safe from outside things,
like vegetables and chores,
and if I traveled time and space
it repels dinosaurs.
It's perfect for a parachute;
It's safe for any height.
And it saves me from the monsters
that peruse my room at night.
It's a bubble in the ocean
when I find my world sinking,
and I've often thought my blankey
knows the thoughts that I've been thinking.
It comforts me and covers up
the no-no's I have done,
and the best part is there's blankets
God has made for everyone!
