What's our weekly purpose
In coming to this place
Is it out of duty
Or here to seek His face
Is this a museum
Where history lives on
A church where no one is disturbed
By spiritual goings on.

Perhaps we've come to worship
Abandoning ourselves
To give Him all that He deserves
By climbing off our shelves
Immersed in our relationship
His healing touch abounds
But only if we worship Him
With loving, praising sounds.
