UNTANGLE MY DAY

Lord, untangle this dreary day.
Lift this cloud of confusion less I stray.
Quench thy spirit this moment to reprieve.
And test my heart in all that displeased.

Separate my Spirit from a world possessed.
Untangle my thoughts from fear of regress.
Siphon this yeast into blessed bread,
give courage to sustain others to be fed.

My candle burns ever so dimly,
down to dark dwindles nearly completely.
Stir Lord my wax to kindle once more,
and guide my light to make it soar.

For I trust your hands never to defeat
my task to travail until I'm complete.
Untangle this day a vision made clear,
a path to your heart repentance near.

Your spirit cleanses the hard of heart,
those imperfections that kept us a part.
Loving grace beyond my understanding,
a sacrificial love without demanding.

A blessing to behold, not untold you see.
Is the key to untangle these thoughts in me.
For to love one another as Jesus displayed
was the one thought needed to untangle my day.
