To Be True

I knelt down in prayer
knowing you are always there
sorrow in my heart
my body filled with fear
What did I have to offer?
What did I have to give?
I cried the name of Jesus
and only then began to live

I said my life was over
possessed by guilt and shame
but you blessed me with another word
the God that is I AM
Love began my journey
and love will end it too
I give it all to Jesus

You're everything in this world
everything I'll ever need
my prayers created by faith in you
find grace and comfort in thee
Bring me your kingdom
and tomorrow's will be done
every need ever met
