A Pastor Of Purpose

And in my mind they will stay
For each has taught me the joyful news
As I wait for that awesome day
The first was funny and witty
And generous in every way
And my heart was truly broken
When he had to move away
The second was incredibly brilliant
The third older and wise
But he who shares the message today
Is an exciting delightful suprise
His purpose has a Godly energy
That pours out on his sheep
And the love of Jesus is everywhere
His teachings are vibrant but deep
And even in his youthfulness
He is so blessed in the word
As he draws you so intimately
And the voice of God is heard
He is sincere and humble
But exuberant in his teaching
Expressive yet gentle is this man
To the heart that he is reaching
His passion is saving all people
Bringing to God soul after soul
And his mission is accomplished
As they step forward and become whole
For in this man is a purpose
Piercing eyes that possess that look
He is absolutely encompassed
And completed by God's Holy Book
