Blessed is the Man (Psalm 1)

by Joshua Wehrmann © 2024

Blessed is the man and favored are his ways
Avoiding wicked counsel, all night and through his days.

Stays off sinners' highways, and paths of Satan's making.
Aside he sets contempt; disdain, and rage that keep men shaking.

But satisfied and happy when he lives in God's sweet rules.
Praying day and night the Lord will give him all the tools.

Spouting roots, way deep, down strong, like trees so tall that tower.
Fruitful, green, and growing fast, renewing Savior power.

Those still lost from grace and faith, are tethered to this world.
Creation will be purged again, from life, they will be hurled.

Turn from your life, rife with the ways of those without salvation.
Faith in the Christ, accept HIS grace or suffer separation.
