A Thankful Heart

A thankful heart, the cure for so much ill,
A source of joy, the world can never kill.
One hand full, contentment in the mind,
A peace like this, a miser never finds.

A thankful heart, a creature's great delight,
What's more it is the benefactors right.
To have the ones, who in his mercy stands,
Grateful for the blessing of his hands.

A thankful heart, is never out of reach,
If living in the slums, or on the beach,
For Grace has given more than we deserve,
And believers have a heaven in reserve.
