Sun, moon and stars are singing
The trees will clap their hands
The anthems of the angels
The drifting of the sands
Of time; that hears the dawning
Upon the earthly shores
Of gentle music flowing
From richest heavenly stores.
The earth's foundations ringing
With glorious melody
The sons of God rejoicing
And singing blissfully.
The founding of it reaches
Where love and wonder meet
The Founder magnifying
And angels at His feet.
Those shouts of joy were filling
The bright eternal space
In dwelt by gleeful voices
Breathing the breath of Grace.
And now we lend our voices
And breath the power of love
Our earthly woes defying
With voices from the Dove.
Magnificent the glory
Of heavenly artistry
Both sound and sight the story
Of His divinity.
The beauty of the mountains
The wonder of the sea
The colours of the rainbow
The Artist's jubilee.
We celebrate His order
The beauty of His plan
And sing and dance with wonder
The glory of that Man.
For now He leads our praises
And blood-bought songs employ
As we all join this singing
And fill God's heart with joy.
