Adrift!
Waves were crashing everywhere - port, starboard, forward, aft... My troubles kept on pouring in, upon my humble raft.
Why My Heart Sings . . .
You ask me why my heart sings . . . because I dwell with my Lord in the secret place where He protects me under the shadow of His wings.
"THE OTHER DISCIPLE DID OUTRUN PETER"
In John's Gospel, John refers to himself as "the other disciple" at times. In the account of the visit to the sepulcher after Jesus' resurrection, I find it amusing the way John records this statement: "The other disciple did outrun Peter."
OUR RISEN SAVIOR
Jesus was crucified and buried, but praise the Lord He arose on the third day. He had victory over death, and because He lives, we can live also!
LEARNING TO CAST
