A Cherished Treasure Made for a Purpose

just what your life was worth?
Do you know the very reason—
the purpose of your birth?
'Twas the LORD in all His Glory
that formed you in the womb—
He knit you in that secret place
where you began to bloom.
It's in His image you were made—
a cherished one you are—
the apple of the good LORD's eye
that shines among each star.
It was the LORD that gave you life—
He breathed life into you.
He made you with His perfect love
and gave you purpose too.
Your purpose was to serve the LORD
with faithfulness and love,
and to serve those in this world—
all made by God above.
And though you might not understand
the mighty works of God
He has a pathway set for you—
a pathway not yet trod.
"As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed[a] in a mother's womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things."
(Ecclesiastes 11:5, NIV)
Please know you are a cherished treasure in our Father's eyes. You were made for a purpose—a unique and special purpose in His Perfect Plan, and your worth is boundless. Let us rejoice and praise the LORD God Almighty!!!
