Resurrection Faith

Christ's resurrection is unique
Raised up by God alone.
Jesus was killed, then raised again,
God's power has been shown.

When Jesus rose, he did appear
To reassure his own,
That angels came to open up
His tomb sealed by a stone.

The evidence that Jesus rose
Can still be seen today,
In lives of those believing souls
Who love God and who pray.

The resurrected Christ in us
Stirs us to serve mankind,
And help the hopeless in despair
Renew their state of mind.

The glory of the Christian soul
Is found in Christ who lives.
When we open our hearts to him,
New life he freely gives.

As we all find the faith we need
To trust what we have heard,
We will be resurrected too,
According to God's word.
