GOD BLESS THE USA

Dear LORD,
Please bless this land in which we live—
the grand 'ole USA,
and don't let freedom loose its grip—
its hold on us each day.
Protect our citizens from harm—
defend us one and all.
Deliver us from evil, LORD,
so no one comes to fall.
Let there be no division, LORD—
no cause for a divide.
Help us settle differences
and become unified.
And as the days ahead approach
may every heart know peace.
May hatred, anger, terror, greed,
diminish—may they cease.
May everyone in this great land
sing songs of thanks and praise,
and may Your love be evident
forever and always.
"Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future," (Ephesians 4:2–4, NLT).
