Who am I

wandering through life
not sure who I am,
confused by my strife
just living a sham.

broken and alone
questions flood my mind,
self remains unknown
scared of what I'll find.

someone without love
with no worth or claim,
need to rise above
"all I am is lame"

my thoughts let me down
they're not who I am,
I may not wear a crown
but I'm His precious lamb.

shepherded by the Father
special by design,
more than just a squatter
child of the Divine!
