He has not dealt with us as we deserve,
Nor punished us for every curve.
His mercy flows like endless streams,
A boundless grace, beyond our dreams.
Though we may stumble, though we fall,
His love still answers every call.
No wrath for sins too great to bear,
But grace that lifts us from despair.
As high as heaven is above the earth,
So is His love, our second birth.
He showers mercy from His throne,
In every trial, we're never alone.
Though justice called for heavy cost,
He sent His Son to save the lost.
Not by our works, but by His grace,
We find our hope, we find our place.
