Mean Time

Someday we'll go to a Wonderful Land,
singing together in God's Angel Band.
We'll have no sorrow in Heaven to share.
All will be glory and peace over there.

Mean time we listen and heed to the call
Church bells are ringing for one and all
heartaches unnumbered we see everywhere
Mean time we all need to kneel in prayer

So much to cope with in this world of sin
fields to be plowed and crops to get in
Food for the kids; shoes for the feet.
warm coats to wear when we come to meet

Let us be thankful for children at play
Let us take time to hear what they say.
Make time for family; visit with friends
