Trial of Trials
(part 1)

I had a dream the other night
that led me out into the light.
I sat upon the witness stand.
A book, the Judge held in his hand.
A lawyer he appointed me.
The lawyer came to set me free.
The Judge and Lawyer sat as one;
Looked justly at the race I'd run,
and glory shown 'round all about.
It made me want to sing and shout.
The judge said, "If you know my son
He may defend the wrong you've done."
My Lawyer took me by the hand.
"My Father, in that Pilgrim Land
I paid for sins of this dear soul
who came to Me and was made whole."
The Judge and Lawyer sat as one:
God, the Father and His Son.
For He is King of all the Kings.
I know His Son ... And my heart sings.
