When you reach that Trial of Trials,
Your record's there in those great files
If you don't know the Son of God ...
The paths of sin so long you've trod...

You'll cry "Dear Father, grant my plea
and introduce your Son to me."
He'll say, "I'm sorry. It's too late.
You had your chance. why did you wait?"

Oh won't you come to Him today?
Just fall down on your knees and pray.
He has opened wide His arms...
to guide you safely in life's storms

and when you reach that Blessed Isle
He'll stand with you at that great trial
He sacrificed His life for you.
Is this so hard for you to do?
