I've Lost the Way

There's a shadow in the valley
I can see...
and the way looks dark and dreary
Lord, for me.
Have my footsteps strayed along
the narrow way?
Precious Savior, lead me back
to You today.

I am blinded in this darkness
all alone...
and I know I'll never make it
on my own.
I was helping some poor soul
who'd gone astray...
when somehow I turned and lost
the narrow way.

Precious Savior I can't measure
where my steps have gone astray
and the tempter leads me deeper.
Help me Lord, I've lost the way.
