Remember!

Remember when you got down on your knees in prayer?
You asked Him into your heart and you knew He was there.
Remember when your life was filled with excruciating pain?
How after the Holy Spirit filled you and only amazing love remained?

Remember how it felt when He told you all your sins were gone?
How He washed them away and you were left with a new dawn?
He told you to start over with a clean slate.
Remember how it felt when He lifted that weight?

Remember how his wings of protection surrounded your soul?
How His promise of eternity made you whole?
Remember how your sins melted away?
How He still gives you mercy and grace to this very day?

He washed away every transgression you ever made
And there's no way to ever repay that upgrade.
If you remember all these glorious steps you taken,
Surrender to Him and let your spirit awaken.

He asks you to spread the word of His gracious gift.
Tell everyone you know so they won't be left adrift.
Eternity is right around the corner and there's no time to spare.
News that Jesus rose from the grave is ours to share.
Shout it from the rooftops and show people how much He cares!

Psalm 107:25-30
"For He spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggered like drunken men; they were at their wit's end. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and He brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; they were glad when it grew calm, and He guided them to their desired haven."
