Let Them Hear

Let them see the tears,
and the pain in these eyes
let them hear Your Word
that my broken heart cries.

Let them ridicule me,
and call me every name
even when they laugh at me
I won't feel any shame.

Let them know the hurt,
and the grief for them I feel
I want them to understand
You're the only God who is real.

Let them hunt me down,
and gnash at me their teeth
they can't take away my faith
for You are salvation's sheath.

Let them run after me,
and pursue me to the end
they can't take You from me
for You are my forever friend.

Let them hear me praise You,
and to see Your ever near
let them see how You rejoice
when from them, I don't fear!
