Under construction! He's working on me
Shaping my life as he wants it to be.
Precept upon precept, line upon line
Purging the dross till his image shines.
Under construction! The thoughts of my mind
Into agreement with his Word divine.
Knowing just who I am in the Lord,
my standing in Christ, my greatest reward.
Under construction! The words I would say
The power of the tongue holds such great sway.
I am what I speak, be it life or death,
A recipe for failure, or life at it's best.
Under construction! Obeying his will
Come Holy Spirit, my empty cup fill.
Fan into flame these embers that be
Under construction! He's working on me.
