When I stand before my precious Lord,
And he looks at the life I have lived,
Will he be pleased with what I have done?
Did I give all that I had to give?
Will I have crowns to lay at his feet
Will my works stand the fiery test?
Lord, I wasted so many precious years
Before surrendering my best.
And the only words I desire to hear,
More than anything heaven affords,
Is 'Well done thou good and faithful servant,
Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
