Snatched Away

by Albert Watson

Jesus said to us one day
'Listen friends, I'm going away,
to Fathers house, a spacious place
a room for you.' I'm saved by grace.

Not long after resurrection day
to that said house he did repay.
As we gazed into the sky,
two men in white were standing by.

Why look up with opened jaw
You will see the Lord some more.
Caught up with Jesus in the clouds
from every nation enormous crowds.

My mind was jogged, another thought,
remember what 'the Christ' had taught.
Two would be in field that day,
one is left, one snatched away.

A couple will be asleep in bed,
now this thought fills me with dread.
The believer's gone with Christ to be.
A relationship broken for eternity.

An awesome prophecy you have read
from Christ the living who was dead.
He died for you, the price did pay,
take Him as Lord, be snatched away.
