Line upon line,
read your Bible every day
word upon word
and from the truth you'll never stray.

Line upon line,
seek to do God's will
word upon word
and His knowledge He will instill.

Precept upon precept,
consider each and every one
concept upon concept
and to God's way you'll be won.

Precept upon precept,
let God's instructions fill your mind
concept upon concept
and His wisdom you will find.

Word upon word,
study what they mean
line upon line
and His mercy you will glean.

Word upon word,
observe all of God's laws
line upon line
and they will reveal your flaws.

Concept upon concept,
give them your every thought
precept upon precept
and do what you know you ought.

Concept upon concept,
search for God every day
precept upon precept
and let Him show you the way.

A little here, a little there,
it's never too late to partake
A little here, a little there
but first to God ~ you must awake!
