The Great Deceiver

When darkness falls upon you,
and depression steps on in
when gloominess fills your mind
and the True Light begins to dim.

When your faith starts to crack,
under the pressures of self doubt
and you notice you have begun
to shut the Good Word out.

When your burdens are piled up,
and they seem to be a mile high
when you start to question God
and you begin to ask Him ~ why.

That's when you need to trust Him,
like you have never done before
and you must not let the enemy
enter into your heart's secret door.

For, Satan is the great deceiver,
he's behind every fatal thought
and he will not be satisfied
until his every lie is bought!

2 Corinthians 2:11
