Finding Jesus

Your thoughts are now, 'All hope is lost',
Your final act's now suicide.
The drugs, abuse, your life was tossed.
Life had taken you for a ride.

The tears, the pain, the guilt within,
Your life not worth the time to spend,
The anguish now has pinned you in.
And no one there to help defend.

"Please stop and look at me, my dear,"
"I'm Jesus Christ, I died for you."
"For I can cleanse and banish fear."
"Please read my Word and find it's true."

A sudden chill, but then such love!
You find the One who cures all pain.
Overwhelming grace from above.
His mercy now like gentle rain!

The Light, the joy, your hope, your Cure -
You, too, can find this One -The King -
Transforms your life; you know, you're sure!
He brings new life and songs to sing!
