My Rock

My Rock never leaves me,
forsake me He does not.
My Rock is strong and sturdy,
each time He is sought.

My Rock forever comforts,
protects and provides.
My Rock is always present,
from me He never hides.

My Rock is my strength,
the power of my might.
My Rock is my safe haven,
my refuge and my light.

My Rock has a name,
To which I call upon.
My Rock is the Lord Jesus,
and to Him, I cling on!

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
