There are too many Christians,
with long and mopey faces
who go around as if . . .
they don't know about God's graces.
When you meet them on the street,
they are always looking down
they walk as if . . .
they don't carry God's joy around.
Their smiles are thin and forced,
their eyes are dull and gray
their faces look as if . . .
they haven't rejoiced a single day.
When you sit and talk to them,
their voices are low and depressed
they talk as if . . .
their happiness they've suppressed.
They can't seem to understand,
the joy that you feel
they think as if . . .
you took some kind of a happy pill!
But as Christians, we need to shine,
no matter what comes our way
and start acting as if . . .
His joy is the best part of our day!
Psalm 35:9
"And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it
shall rejoice in his salvation."
