I Will Wait . . .

I wait on the Lord, I will wait,
I don't know how long it'll be,
I'll wait, knowing He is working
something unique inside of me.

I wait on the Lord, I will wait,
I will wait all my day long
I'll wait, knowing He is doing
something to make me strong.

I wait on the Lord, I will wait,
I am not sure what I'll see
I'll wait, knowing He is working
something wonderful inside me.

I wait on the Lord, I will wait
I will wait for as long as I can
I'll wait, knowing He is working
something in His eternal plan.

I wait on the Lord, I will wait,
I will patiently wait and see
I'll wait, knowing He is doing
something amazing inside of me!
