Thoughts of Grace

Hey, I wonder where you found the courage
On social media to make a friend
Who while being short of friends can manage?
I hope that on your message you hit “Send,”
For I am lacking words to share with you
While trying hard to draw you from your pod.
Perhaps we don’t have much to say, it’s true,
And I’m not sure that you believe in God.
Death has no sting, the grave no victory
In Jesus Christ who died and rose again,
Defeating evil; by His blood I’m freed.
Thoughts of grace within my heart are written.
Although with you I’m somewhat short of speech,
From you, my friend, I do not need to leach.
