Don't Waste Your Valley

Don't waste your valley,
let not it consume you
for God wants to show
you the way through.

Though it is painful,
steep with depression
let God's Spirit on you
make His impression.

Don't waste your valley,
don't lose your hope
for God sent His Word
to help you to cope.

Though it may be dark,
His light will still shine
and the pathway out
His Word will define.

Don't waste your valley,
instead, a witness be
of how God walked . . .
in the valley with thee!

Psalm 23:4

"Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
