He Will Answer You

God knows what we need, when we need it,
And He knows how long it will take.
By faith He wants us to receive it,
And believe a way He will make.

And the longer that we have to wait,
We can be most certainly sure,
Not one minute longer will it take
Than what's needed for us to endure.

Like Abraham and Sarah of old,
When their time was finally come,
God kept His word, as the angels told,
Sent them Isaac, their 'promised son.'

His word to me He'll keep, I've no fear,
And no matter how long it will take,
When my time at last, has fully come,
I'll rejoice in God's answered prayer.
