Just Another Valley

I have tumbled down the hillside
as I have so many times.
Now I'm standing on the bottom
where the sun will never shine.
The path that leads me upward
seems so full of pain and strife
but it's just another valley
... in my life.

Yes, it's just another valley
just before another hill.
Another disappointment
as I've wandered from God's will.
He will redirect my path
back to the straight and narrow way.
This is just another valley
... for my sake.

Jesus walked the lowest valley
that this world could ever know.
For the joy that set before Him,
there He willingly did go.
There He paid the price for sin
and He set the prisoner free...
and He's walking through this valley
... now with me.
