If Perfect Love ~

If perfect love,
casts out all fear
then why do we feel
danger is always near?

If perfect love,
dispels the dread
then why do we feel
despair in our head?

If perfect love,
makes us unafraid
then why do we feel
so ever dismayed?

If perfect love,
has not a worry
then why do we feel
our cares we must carry?

If perfect love,
does what it says it can do
then why don’t we Jesus . . .
just give our fears to You?

1 John 4:18
