Waiting on the Lord

Are you waiting on the Lord,
are you patiently hanging on
are you staying in there strong
or is your faith almost gone?

Are you at your wit's end,
are you in over your ears
are you questioning yourself
is your faith about your fears?

Are you seeing a sea of red,
are you sinking in your doubt
are you being overly anxious
is your faith running out?

Are you upset with the Lord,
are you distrustful He will act
are you questioning Him
is your faith running off tract?

Are you ready to give up,
are you starting to go astray
are you feeling like it's no use
is your faith slipping away?

Well, I want you to know,
God hasn't given up on you
so just keep looking to Him
and your strength He'll renew!

Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.”
