Talk to Me Lord, Talk to Me . . .

by Deborah Ann Belka

Talk to me Lord, talk to me,
for my world's shaking apart
and the winds of adversity
are blowing thru my heart.

Talk to me Lord, talk to me,
come and put out the flame
for I am burning up inside
from the guilt of my shame.

Talk to me Lord, talk to me,
tell me the way I should go
speak to me thru Your Spirit
so Your path I may know.

Talk to me Lord, talk to me,
walk with me along the way
tell me to go right or go left
I need Your guidance today.

Talk to me Lord, talk to me,
whisper Your love in my ear
reassure and remind me that
Your Spirit is close and near.

Talk to me Lord, talk to me,
let not pride keep us apart
be that still small voice . . .
that I can hear in my heart!

1 Kings 19:12

"But the LORD was not in the wind: and
after the wind an earthquake; but the
Lord was not in the earthquake: and
after the earthquake a fire; but the
Lord was not in the fire: and after the
fire a still small voice."

Isaiah 30:21

"And thine ears shall hear a word behind
thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye
in it, when ye turn to the right hand,
and when ye turn to the left."
