Sitting still is not easy for me.
My mind is always running top speed.
The thoughts and dreams I want to birth
Don't come quickly on this earth.

You tell me to just hold on
To those desires of mine all too strong.
All I have to do is wait on you,
The perfect timing of all you do.

I will worship you while I wait
Knowing you are never late.
Your wisdom too great to understand,
Forever trusting your mighty hand.

I know the plans you have for me,
A life of goodness and prosperity.
By your word I know this is true,
