Everyday Struggles

Everyday becomes a struggle,
when from God's Word we stray
every hour is more miserable
when we don't believe and pray.

Everything looks impossible,
when His hope is not there
every problem looks a lot bleaker
when we don't trust in His care.

Every worry seems unbearable,
when His mercy we don't claim
every concern is more insufferable
when we don't call upon His name.

Every mountain seems a bit higher,
when we climb it all alone
every valley is a little deeper
when we don't seek out His throne.

Everyone who goes about,
looking to do whatever it is they will
will never know the kind of peace
that only God can instill!

Isaiah 26:3

"You will keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on You,
because he trusts in You."
