Sin Is Still Sin

Oh, my worldly friends,
don’t you be deceived
the meaning of sin
is often misconceived.

Sin is still sin,
no matter what they say
changes to the Word of God
won’t stand up on judgment day.

Sin is still dark and evil,
it’s full of greed and pride
don’t you believe for a minute
sin from God you can hide.

Sin is still vile and wicked,
it’s coveting and lusting
and in the eyes of God . . .
all of it to Him is disgusting.

Repentance is,
what you need to do
so Jesus from your sin
can forgive and free you.

So, my worldly friends,
repent and sin no more
lest with satan your soul . . .
will till the end, be at war!

Matthew 4:17

“From that time
Jesus began to preach,
and to say,
Repent:
for the kingdom
of heaven is at hand.”
