May this mortal sing your praise?

Mighty God Whom heavenly angels worship
may this mere mortal Your anthem raise?
For All glorious God You are worth it,
worthy of worship and eternal praise.

Sing my soul, salvations wondrous story
and of the way Christ came as Man to earth.
For this Awesome God in all His glory
entered into our world by virgin birth.

Sing, yes sing of Him Who came to save you.
Laid down His life as though the blame was His
Paid the price on the cross and forgave you.
Sing, sing, for no greater love has man than this.

For He's the Lord of every nation
and the great Author of my Salvation.
So I now raise my melody of praise
to the Ancient of Eternal Days
