On Wings Like A Dove

Teach this little sparrow to fly, Lord,
give me the wings like a dove.
Show me how to soar like an eagle,
so I can rise and mount in Your love.

Teach me to fly, Lord Jesus,
take me up and over the high sea.
Show me how to spread my wings,
so I may swoop in next to Thee.

Teach this little sparrow to fly, Lord,
take me through each dark valley.
Show me how to climb every mountain,
so I'll know when it's time to glide or rally.

Teach me to fly, Lord Jesus,
take me under the shadow of Your wings.
Show me how to hover after every storm,
so I may rest in the peace that it brings.

Teach this little sparrow to fly, Dear Lord,
let me float on the breeze of Your love.
Give me a spirit that will mount and soar,
