Sleepy Weary Ones

Dear Lord,

The night brings sleepy, weary ones
to rest upon their bed.
They close their eyes and start to dream
while visions fill their head.

And as they dream, the daylight sun
draws closer every hour.
Please let the sleepy, weary ones
know rest by Your great pow'r.

Renew their spirits while they sleep
and cleanse their hearts and souls.
I pray they seek You, mighty Lord,
as each new day unfolds.

I also pray that all their dreams
are blessed by You each night.
Please let them sleep in peaceful bliss
while resting in Your sight.
