Be Perfect . . .

Make perfection your goal,
make it your heart's desire
do all that you know
our heavenly Father requires.

Be faithful and true,
press towards holiness
let His grace show you
how to live with lowliness.

Be followers of God,
for you are His dear child
submit to all of His ways
being truly humble and mild.

Be imitators of your Father,
show compassion and love
even to those who hate you
let your peace be like a dove.

Be perfect,
strive and make this your goal
seek and you shall find
His perfection for your soul.
