The Bible, precious Word of God,
Inspired in every part.
Informing minds with wisdom,
Reaching down in human hearts.

Declaring what has gone before,
Proclaiming what’s to come;
Both where the world is heading,
And where everything came from.

Declaring what is darkness
And defining what is light,
That we may know what He calls sin
And what he says is right.

Disclosing truth about His name,
And setting forth his glory.
Yes, we may read His character
In every Bible story.
