He Calms the Storms

He calms the storms,
the waves He can hush
so those in distress
into His arms will rush.

He redirects the wind,
tells it where to go
so those fearful
His peace may know.

He stops the roar,
of an angry sea
so those hopeless
His power can see.

He silences the clap,
in the thunder
so those frightened
can see His wonder.

He answers the cries,
of those afraid . . .
so they’ll learn in Him
not to be dismayed!

1 Chronicles 22:13
