Faith to Sight

God is an unknown image
we see in faith and with our heart
The eyes through which we see the unseen
the day we first start

To receive the Spirit, then seek Him,
that is when we first perceive
Our invisible God, the Father,
and on that very day, we believe

We know He is there,
through answered prayers and more
Guiding us through His Word,
and promises of what is in store

Not only the wonders of the universe
but blessed salvation to
Raising Christ, healings,
and miracles asked that come true

And though we hope, kneel,
and pray each night and day
We will not see God's face
until the journey ends and we pass away

For it is obedience and a job well done;
As we go from dark to light
That will open our eyes to His kingdom,
and our reward of faith to sight
