Too Busy

There is a Devil, every Christian knows,
Whose purpose is destruction of God's Church.
Where we are watered by the Word we grow,
But what of those unwelcomed, in the lurch?
We are too busy judging those inside,
Deriding one another's weaknesses.
Dissention is the Devil's tool we bide,
With Queens lost to his rooks like pawns in chess.
Christ's strategy, do everything with love,
Left out like those outside, we soon forget.
While all of Heaven witnesses above,
We turn from grace and say their fate they've met,
With Christ admonishing us to return,
What Bride would not her Bridegroom's love affirm?
