Eyes of Love

Putting self before all others,
We forget to love our brothers.
Having eyes for our own needs,
This leaves hurting ones to bleed.

True love sees those that suffer,
Reaching out to help another.
Changing self from number one,
We honor Christ, God's only Son.

To love our neighbor as ourselves,
We meet the needs of someone else.
Seeking now the Father's heart,
We know He's pleased in this regard.
