Harvest of the Spirit

by Bose V © 2024

In fields of faith, the Spirit's fruit abound,
Like blooms of love, joy, peace, all around.
With patience, kindness, goodness, they unfurl,
Guiding us through life's tumultuous swirl.

Gentleness, faithfulness, self-control, they bring,
As steady anchors in stormy spring.
Each fruit a gift, from Heaven's hand,
To nurture souls and help us stand.

Love, the root from which they grow,
Binding hearts in a sacred flow.
Joy, the melody in life's song,
Lifting spirits when days are long.

Peace, a tranquil, calming sea,
Where troubled hearts find sanctuary.
Patience, the virtue that calms the storm,
As we wait for hope's bright dawn.

Kindness, a beacon in the night,
Guiding lost souls towards the light.
Goodness, a seed sown deep within,
Bearing fruit of grace, free from sin.

Gentleness, a tender touch,
Healing wounds that hurt so much.
Faithfulness, a steadfast guide,
Walking with us, side by side.

Self-control, the helm to steer,
Through temptations that draw near.
These fruits of Spirit, gifts divine,
In every heart, let them shine.

For in their harvest, we find our way,
Through life's trials, come what may.
With faith as our compass, and love as our creed,
The fruits of Spirit fulfill every need.
