Daniel

Daniel served the Living God,
Knelt each day in prayer;
Sinners watched the path he trod
and knew his God was there.

King Darius was his friend.
He rendered tribute due...
but he would not bow to him.
To his God stood true;

Angels closed the lions mouth.
Daniel's faith was strong ...
And I know without a doubt,
he slept the whole night long!

Oh Daniel!faithful,trusting,true.
Oh Daniel, God took care of you!

God came down to be with you
in the lion's den ...
For He knew you served Him true
and put your trust in Him.

King Darius was so glad
God delivered you ...
So he told the world He had.
Daniel's God stood true!
